Family and Friends Addiction Education Richmond VA

This education session is the best resource for families and friends with loved ones suffering from addiction in the area. If you have an addicted loved one and live in Richmond or Midlothian, you should definitely check this out.

The education is better than you’ll find anywhere and they often have guests from various rehab programs come speak and you can get questions answered. Knowledge is power.

Launching the second Family & Friends Education Program

The first program (Thursdays 6:30-8:00, 563 Southlake Blvd.) has been meeting for more than 5 years, and has been a tremendous resource for Families with loved ones struggling with substance use & addiction.

This is a second weekly opportunity for Family Education focused on Substance Use & Addiction in partnership with VCU’s Motivate Clinic. The Program is free with no need to register for any of the sessions.

What is it?

This program is aimed at Family & Friends of people struggling with substances or who are in recovery.

Our first three sessions will be:

September 11th – 10 Things your loved ones wish you understood about substance use disorders (but would never tell you)

September 18th – Understanding Levels of Care in Addiction Treatment

September 25th – Communicating with CRAFT (Community Reinforcement and Family Training)
