At Beacon Tree Foundation, we recognize the need to help parents and their children overcome personal and physical hurdles in order enjoy life by becoming successful members of society through academic accomplishment and personal growth. So many of our young people, without the support and guidance provided by private institutions, are lost and will have no opportunity to use their gifts to profoundly impact the vitality of our communities and its enterprises.
Motivated by that reality, Beacon Tree Foundation invests in the education of those young men and women who fight each day to overcome their challenges and successfully go on to lead productive lives.
Each year, Beacon Tree Foundation presents scholarships to graduating seniors who have been accepted and will attend full time, an accredited 4-year college or university, or an accredited 2-year college with the intention of transferring to complete a degree program at an accredited 4- year institution.
Scholarship recipients are chosen by the faculty and staff of special schools and programs chosen by the Board of Directors of the Foundation.
The scholarships will be paid out over 4 years. Each year proof of enrollment will provided to the Board of Directors in order to receive the scholarship payment. Failure to transfer from a 2-year college to 4-year institution will invalidate the award. Failure to submit required documentation, or enter higher education within 6 months, will invalidate the award.
Awards are approved by the board of directors of Beacon Tree Foundation in conjunction with the leadership of the representative school.
